Unfortunately breastfeeding is sometimes a challenge for new mamas and babies. This was a shock to me when I came home with my sweet boy 9 years ago, and we were not dealing with any medical issues.
Sweet baby Hazel had successful heart surgery at a few days old, so once home she was eating through a tube. But she is getting stronger everyday, and nursing some. What a strong mama and strong baby!
