atlanta doula and birth photographer
I have really enjoyed being this family's doula and photographer. We have gotten to know each other over the past few months with prenatal get togethers, a pregnancy photo session, and their amazing birth.
They birthed their baby at Dekalb Medical, with See Baby Midwifery. I met them at home first, and helped them figure out when it was time to arrive at the hospital. They had a great experience with Midwife Carrie Reed, who helped Dad catch his little boy in the water. Amazing to be a part of, and it was so much fun to document the journey for them!

I find it such a natural combination to be a family's doula and photographer at the same time. A pregnancy photo session helps us get closer, and to be more comfortable with each other. Then during the birth I work with the partner to doula as a team, and every once in a while I take a picture to tell the story. I'm so excited to visit this family again next week for a newborn photo session as well!
I love that my clients have pictures from their baby's birth day, and they also have a birth story to share with their child later on.
I offer birth doula services and birth photography as separate services or as a combination.
