I had the honor of attending a beautiful backyard wedding in Edgewood recently. When my three year old son looked over my shoulder while I was editing the pictures, he sighed and he said, "now that's love." I agree!
Ashley and Matt are such a sweet couple. They surrounded themselves with their chosen family, and it was refreshing to witness the love. From the VW Bug door, to the spark plug arch and heart shaped altar, it was obvious that their loving friends created a perfectly personal event.
This session is an example of the type of wedding photography I offer--very low key and laid back. In fact, I don't consider myself a "wedding photographer." I am a family photographer, and I enjoy capturing family connections and moments. A wedding is a public moment in which we declare our family to those we consider family!
