So I have to tell you that I got a little teary eyed just by thinking about this blog post. My baby brother is expecting his first child at the end of this month--and I'm a bit of a mess. If I close my eyes I can hear his squeaky little boy voice and his mischievous laugh. But now he is an incredible man who married an amazing woman and soon they will become parents. My baby brother!! SO crazy.
A couple of weeks ago we had a maternity session to document this moment in their lives, as we wait for baby boy to arrive. We started at their house and included their sweet pup, and then headed to a field for a sunset session. Here are some of my favorites:
Maternity photography tells your story in this moment. The details of right now, as you await your precious baby. Pregnancy is such an incredible time of transition in your life, and I want to document it for you. I love to include the nursery and other parts of your home. I also want to include the whole family in our session, and that means pets too!
Ready to book your maternity session? I think 35-36 weeks pregnant is the best time to schedule a maternity session for--that way you are big and beautiful, but we don't risk missing our opportunity with an earlier than expected arrival. Worried about what to wear? I can put you in touch with an amazing stylist who will make the whole family look great. And as for location, we can shoot in your home and/or figure out a lovely outdoor location somewhere in the city.
