Wooh! November flew by and was full of really fun family photo sessions. With so many great sessions, and no time to blog them, I thought I'd jump back in with my most recent.
This beautiful backyard photo session was actually a Christmas present to my client's parents. It's so special to be able to capture three generations in photos. Just as childhood goes by super fast, so does the time grandparents are able to connect with their young grandkids.
My family photo sessions are a mix of portraits and documentary photography, and I often get asked what documentary family photography is. The quick answer is that it is candid photos.
The longer answer is that documentary family photography is your family doing what you do the way you do it, as I follow along like a fly on the wall capturing your beautiful mess. It is preserving real memories that you will cherish and pass on to generations to come.
Enjoy some of my favorites from our fall photo session, which included making and eating s'mores, playing in the leaves, and lots of snuggles!
