One of the highlights of being a family photographer is shooting the amazing lives of my own family! My baby brother became a Father a few years back, and it's been so amazing to watch and document his family grow.
This year they welcomed their second son into our family, so we did maternity and newborn photoshoots. Normally I prefer locations that are special, and specifically photos in the home, but the maternity session was before we were all vaccinated, so we met at a local park.

We were finally vaccinated, and able to have our newborn photoshoot at home. Of course I still wore a mask, but it was so great to be able to tell a bit of their story where it actually takes place. You can see the difference in the type of photos we got, with way more candid, "documentary" family photos.
Grandma came along too, which was nice to include her in the session.
