I recently photographed a maternity session for the coolest couple in Decatur. We had planned on starting at their house and then heading to Oakhurst--but their house was so gorgeous that we never left! You do not need a Pinterest worthy home to make beautiful images, but this house was amazing! I love their style. Plus they have two super cute pups who warmed right up to me after I put the dog treat on my head LOL. I always love including pets, who are often a couple's first babies. I can't wait to meet their newborn, and photograph their newborn session. Seriously--I love my job!

I think that between 35 and 36 weeks pregnant is a great time to schedule your maternity session. At that point you can show off your growing belly, but you hopefully aren't super uncomfortable. Plus we wouldn't want to risk missing our opportunity for maternity photos because of an early labor!
I love including your home in maternity sessions, as your home is such a big part of your story. I'm flexible, though, and am happy to suggest a local park or part of the city that fits what you are looking for.
Maternity sessions are a great opportunity to get to know each other, in anticipation of our newborn session. If you are ready to book your maternity session, start here. You can see full pricing information here, and please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions at all!
