The Booking Process

Booking is done all online and only takes a few minutes. Once you read through this page, you will:

  • Select your session length

  • Pick your session date and time

    (For newborn sessions, just pick a weekday morning around your estimated due date, and we will adjust as needed)

  • Pay the first of 3 payments

02 | Prepping For Your Session

  • I'll send over a questionnaire to learn more about your family, and a getting ready guide that answers most questions you might have—we're photographing your real life, so there's actually nothing you need to do to prepare, but I'm happy to share what I've learned over the years.  

  • If you’re booking a newborn session, you will let me know once your baby arrives, and we will confirm that the date chosen still works, or pick a different day.

  • ​I'll check in a few days before our session to confirm our plan, and this is when your 2nd of 3 payments is due.

03 | Your Session

Be sure to block off the appropriate amount of time based on the session type you've booked... and that's it. I'll make art out of your life, as chill or chaotic as it is in this moment.

There is zero pressure for anyone to perform, and I hope that you'll simply enjoy time with your family while I tag along.   ​

04 | Your Photos

Within a couple of weeks of our session, you'll receive a highlight slideshow from our session, and your third and final payment is due.

As soon as your final payment is paid, you'll instantly have access to your full gallery of images, ready to download, share, and print.

What you are going to do with your photos is the most important aspect to consider when booking a photo session, but it's so often overlooked.

All that time and money should result in more than just images on a hard drive. I want your photos on your walls or in the pages of an heirloom album for you and your kids to enjoy for years to come. 

​Below is a sample of some of the professional lab products you can choose from, and I love designing albums for clients.

    Coffee Table Album

    This coffee table book with flexible pages comes in a variety of colors in a linen or suede cover. Minimum 20 pages, max 100.

    This lay-flat album with sturdy pages (fuji crystal archive silk DPII) and a slightly shiny finish. It comes in a variety of sizes and covers, including velvet, suede, linen or leather.

    Matted + Framed Prints

    Beautiful custom framed print comes ready to be displayed.

    Printed on Kodak Matte photographic paper and mounted with a premium white mat board for a beautiful bevel appearance, the frame is then finished with an acrylic face and black paper backing. Available in light wood, graphite, white and black, and arrives ready to hang.
