  • Most clients book maternity photography during the second trimester to secure a date.

  • The best time is usually between 32–34 weeks pregnant, when your belly is showing clearly but you’re still comfortable enough to move around easily.

  • Yes. I photograph maternity sessions throughout Atlanta, Decatur, and surrounding neighborhoods, offering both outdoor and in-home options. My favorite place to photograph families is at home.

  • Absolutely. Maternity sessions are designed to include your partner and children if you’d like. The session is about your growing family.

  • I want you to feel like yourself and be comfortable. Neutral colors and simple, timeless outfits photograph best. Flowy dresses, fitted maternity gowns, or casual outfits like jeans and a top are all great options.

  • Almost everyone feels that way at first. I provide gentle direction to get a few nice portraits, and then we move into candids. It helps everyone loosen up when an activity is planned. Nothing crazy, just something to do, like play with the dogs, decorate the nursery, or make a pancake breakfast.

  • Yes. Many clients book maternity and newborn sessions together to document the full story.
