“We did a ‘Year in the Life’ with Chanda and it was one of the best investments our family has made!
She did such a great job capturing us in our everyday life over the year, and we are so grateful to have the “ordinary” captured in a beautiful album we’ll flip through for years to come.”

A year of family photography + a really cool family yearbook.

2 hour sessions every other month starting in January or February + 100ish page coffee table style album
-

4 Sessions (seasonally) $300/month

“I just absolutely LOVE what Chanda does every time she visits our family to take our "Year in the Life" photos.
This last visit was just as chaotic as usual in our house but exacerbated by the foot injury Marisol picked up earlier in the day in her soccer game… She beautifully captured the joy we all have using the mini soccer field Anel has meticulously planned and manicured in the backyard, the welcome return of bonfire and s'mores weather, the tears and laughter throughout the preparation for dinner on the back patio, and the stunning colors of the sun setting at our dream home…”

FAQs
What do we actually do?You don't need to come up with a list of activities or plan your year around photography. I'll join you in whatever you're already doing.
Maybe that's making pancakes on a Saturday morning, spending an afternoon at the pool, walking to the neighborhood park, celebrating a birthday, having dinner with grandparents, decorating for Christmas, or just hanging out at home. Some sessions might be busy and full of activity, while others might be wonderfully ordinary. That's the point.
Over the course of a year, we'll photograph all of it—the routines, the personalities, the changes, and the little things you probably don't realize you'll want to remember.
How do I choose between the three options?Think about how much of your year you want to capture. Four sessions give you a snapshot of each season, six sessions let us check in throughout the year, and twelve sessions allow us to document all the little changes and everyday moments along the way. There isn't a right choice—it's really about how much of your family's year you want to remember.
What if we have to reschedule a session?Life happens, which is exactly what I'm photographing. If something comes up, we'll find another time that works. And it's completely okay if not everyone is there for every session—sometimes a year looks like one parent and the kids, siblings doing their own thing, or just whoever happens to be home that day. There’s no pressure to create a “photo-worthy” day. The goal is to document your real life as it unfolds throughout the year.
And then there's the yearbook.
At the end of the year, all those individual sessions come together in a beautiful family yearbook—a tangible record of the year you just lived.
I'll help you choose the photographs that tell the story best, from the big moments to the completely ordinary ones. You'll have all of your digital images from each session, but the yearbook is where the pieces come together and become something you can actually hold, look through, and pass around.
A whole year of your family's life, in one book.
