The Booking Process

SCHEDULING YOUR SESSION
Booking is done all online and only takes a few minutes. Read through this page, and when you are ready to book you'll click the link at the bottom of this page to:

Half Day in the Life (5-6 hours)
Being with your family longer means more natural moments. It allows for genuine and spontaneous moments to unfold, and I have time to blend into your family dynamic and become a part of the background. As everyone relaxes, the authentic connections within your family shine through, and I can tell the story of your day wherever it takes you (even if we never leave your house)

Slice of Life (2-3 hours)
A relaxed session great for documentary Newborn sessions at home to capture this special moment in your life. A totally stress free approach to family photography with zero pressure to perform.

Snapshot (60-90 minutes)
Available only to previous clients, or clients who also book a longer session.
A short and sweet photo session to tell your beautiful story through family photos at home.

PREPPING FOR THE SESSION
Once our session is booked I'll send over a brief questionnaire to learn more about you guys and what you have in mind. I'll also send over a getting ready guide that answers most questions you might have. We're photographing your real life, so there's actually nothing you need to do, but I'll make some suggestions based on what I've learned over the years.

Once your baby arrives you'll shoot me an email and we can confirm the selected date or pick another one. Because babies are on their own schedule, I fully expect to reschedule but occasionally the date works! This is also when your second of 3 payments is due.

THE SESSION ITSELF
The easy part!
Please be sure to block off the appropriate amount of time based on the session type you've booked... and that's it. I'll make art out of your life, as chill or chaotic as it is in this moment. There is zero pressure for anyone to perform, and my hope is that you'll simply enjoy time with your family while I tag along.
The whole family is welcome, including grandparents and pets.

THE FUN PART!
Within a couple of weeks of our session you'll receive a highlight slideshow from our session, and your third and final payment is due.
As soon as that's paid you'll have access to your full gallery of images, ready to download and print.
What you are going to do with your photos is the most important aspect to consider when booking a photo session, but it's so often overlooked.
All that time and money should result in more than images on a hard drive. I want your photos on your walls or in the pages of an heirloom album for you and your kids to enjoy for years to come.

Coffee Table Photo Book
This coffee table book with flexible pages comes in a variety of colors in a linen or suede cover. Minimum 20 pages, max 100.

Printed on professional-grade photographic paper that features a semi-gloss finish with a finely stippled texture, creating a faint glimmer.

Matted + Framed Prints
Beautiful custom framed print comes ready to be displayed.
Printed on Kodak Matte photographic paper and mounted with a premium white mat board for a beautiful bevel appearance, the frame is then finished with an acrylic face and black paper backing. Available in light wood, graphite, white and black, and arrives ready to hang.

BABY'S FIRST YEAR
This next year is going to be the longest and fastest of your life. Take my word for it.

Add on to your newborn session with a 6 month old session and a 1 year old session, to document your baby's entire first year.
Baby's First Year is a 10 month subscription for $210/month ($2100) that includes a gorgeous 10x10 lay flat album with your favorites from all three sessions (newborn | 6 months | 1 year)

You can decide now or later, as the subscription starts when your baby is 2 months old.

The 365 Project includes a complimentary mini maternity session.
