SO much of my family photography style and preferences are about including my clients home. Our homes tell so much of our story! So the pandemic has forced some big changes for my work over the past year. Of course I was grateful to be able to photograph families at all this past year.
I was thrilled to hear from this sweet family with news of their second pregnancy. For their first son I was their maternity, birth and newborn photographer, but this time around was very different.
I photographed a maternity session and then a newborn session with them, both outdoors at local parks. While I still prefer to include my client's home, and am super excited to be fully vaccinated and doing that again, I do love the photos we got of this family.
Transitioning from a family of three to a family of four is big. It is exciting and scary and hard and amazing. I'm honored to be chosen to tell a piece of their story.
