I recently photographed baby Simone's first birthday! I was lucky enough to photograph her birth, so this session was extra special for me.
We started early in the morning so that I could capture the sweet little moments that make up their morning routine. Their Mom loves how cute the kids are when she goes into their room to wake them up, and she asked that I document it.
There is so much beauty in these ordinary parts of our days, and family photojournalism saves these tiny memories for us.
Once everyone was dressed and ready, we headed outside for some fun. First to their porch, and then we went to a nearby park. One is such a great age to photograph, catching the wobbly steps and easy smiles.
